Vinita Fireworks Show Set for June 29

June 15, 2018

Celebrate America's Independence with your family and friends at the 6th Annual Bob McSpadden Memorial Annual Fireworks Show. Join the crowds at Vinita Hornets Memorial Stadium for this free show on Friday, June 29. Gates will open at 7:30 pm and the fireworks start at dusk. General admission is free.

Arrive early to enjoy the food trucks, music, and activities for the kids. There will be a color guard demonstration and the singing of the national anthem before the show begins. At nightfall, a myriad of colorful fireworks will be launched into the sky. In a blaze of light and sound, spectators will enjoy a carefully-orchestrated display.

This Independence Day celebration is paid for entirely by the community with a goal of $15,000. To make a donation, visit or contacts the VACC by phone at (918) 256-7133.

The VACC recognizes and appreciates its Legacy Members for their commitment to the organization and Vinita’s business community: Arvest Bank, Bank of Grand Lake, Cherokee Nation Businesses, City of Vinita, First National Bank, The Junction Internet, Oklahoma State Bank, and U.S. Cellular Premier Locations.
