The Vinita Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting donations for the 6th annual Bob McSpadden Memorial Fireworks Show. This Independence Day celebration is paid for entirely by the community with a goal of $15,000. The City of Vinita donated $2,000. In addition, Cherokee Nation Businesses gave $1,500. $500 donors include First National Bank and the Vinita Daily Journal.
“Contributions from our sponsors plus your generous donation will ensure that this patriotic tradition is a success,” said Executive Director Monica Bagwell.
