Young's Tire started out selling, salvage parts, and re-cap tires in 1973…Bill started buying star tires from Burggraf Tire and went to a full line of many different brands and sizes of tires to choose from today. Young's has grown steadily as a successful family owned business for over 38 years.
Young's is located in a residential area off 6th street and Tahlequah, 723 E Tahlequah. Although in the beginning Bill Young who started the business was told by many that the business would not make in a residential area, now after 38 years the business is still going strong, and now owned by the second generation of the Young family, Bills son Terry Young. Terry and his wife Sherry took over the business in 2008 when Bill retired. Although we have made some changes to the building, including a fresh coat of paint, added a computer system to keep track of the large growing inventory of Tires, the one thing that remains the same is the service that helped build the business to start with. Young's Tire strives to make sure they are given the best deals, quick and friendly service to their customers to ensure they continue to come back. 
Large part of the business caters to the agriculture community, a lot of farmers depend on them to keep them running during the busiest times of the year.
One of the things they are known for is having a large inventory of tires making Young's Tire an asset to the community of Vinita and surrounding areas, and sometimes even to their competitors. Before they added the computers to track inventory, they would have to go across the street to see what they had, thus taking up valuable time, today they save valuable time by being able to locate it on the system.
People who are second generation customers remember the days when they were kids and would come by Young's and enjoy a cold soda pop and candy. And today Young's still has the cold soda pop, candy and ice creams those customers now share with there kids.
Youngs Tire sells new and used tires, tractor tires, ATV tires, golf cart tires, truck, car, lawn mower, if it is a tire if we don't have it we will try to get it. They also sell new and rebuilt batteries.
They also offer a student driver discount on flat repairs, giving the student $3.00 off, its helps those struggling teens saving them money.
Their inventory ranges from economically priced to the more expensive, hoping to meet the needs of the community. They also offer Road Hazard for new tires, and they think this is one of the best deals ever…..
The shop hours are Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00 Sat 8-12 and for those customers who need emergency service after hours; they can call the shop phone for the after hours service number.
