Vinita has 3 public parks. Attucks Park located at 320 South Second, North Park located on the 200 block of North Scraper Street & South Park located at the 200 block of South Scraper. The parks have covered pavilions, walking path, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a swimming pool and a skate park.

 

Bill Morgan Sports Complex

Our new Bill Morgan Sports Complex has 2 Softball & 2 Baseball Diamonds. It features a spacious concession stand, wireless score boards and an upstairs press box. more>>

 

American Legion Rodeo Complex

Located 1/4 mile from the I-44 toll road just off of route 66. This location supports several rodeos throughout the year. The main one being the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo in August each year.

 

Craig County Fairgrounds

The Craig County Fairgrounds has multiple buildings and a rodeo arena. A new community center is in the planning stages and the citizen of Craig County anxiously await the construction.

 

Grand Lake O' the Cherokees

Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees is a short drive from Vinita. The beautiful lake was created in 1940 with the completion of the Pensacola Dam on the Grand River. The Pensacola Dam is the largest multiple arch dam in the world. Dam Tours available Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
