20th Annual Vinita Chamber Classic Golf Tournament – Friday June 8th
We are hosting our 20th Annual Classic Golf Tournament. The Tournament will be held Friday, June 8th at the Peoria Ridge Golf Course in Miami, OK. The Tournament will begin at 9:30am with a shotgun start. We will have a putting contest prior to the event. We will also have two major hole-in-one prizes; $20,000 towards the purchase of an automobile (sponsored by Bob Hart Chevrolet, Bill Hodge Dodge, and Green Country Ford), as well as a trip to Hawaii (sponsored by Allstate Insurance Co. – Amy Turner). We will have additional hole-in-one prizes on every Par 3, as well as special contest holes, door prizes, and goodie bags. This is one of our major fundraising events for the year, so be sure to sign up now and have some fun. We only have room for twenty teams this year, so sign up on the attached entry form and do not be left in the gallery, unless you want to watch someone else drive home in their new car and take their vacation to Hawaii.

First 2012 Vinita Area Chamber of Commerce Member Open Forum – Tuesday May 22nd
We will begin the first in a series of monthly Chamber Member Open Forums in May. We will meet the 4th Tuesday of each month, at the Vinita Pizza Hut at noon. Our May 22nd Open Forum will feature OK Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb. We invite you to attend, and to bring a prospective new member with you. This is your opportunity to network with other business and community leaders, and to visit with one of our OK State leaders. You may also walk away with a door prize, just for attending.

Craig County Offices Candidate Forum – Monday June 4th
The only thing worse than a non-voter is an uninformed-voter. We will be hosting our first 2012 Candidate Forum on Monday, June 4th at the Vinita Pizza Hut at noon. The following candidates will be present to provide you with information on why they are the best selection for you on the June 26th primary election ballot. Craig County Commissioner District #2: Chris Windle and Hugh A. Gordon. Craig County Clerk: David DuBois and Tammy Malone. Craig County Sheriff: Joe Johnson and Jimmie L. Sooter.
